I'm having intermittent problems with using i2c to communicate between a Raspberry Pi (Master), an Arduino (Slave and Master), and a Motor Shield (Slave). With the right delays in the code, it works much of the time but eventually messes up. I think the issue lies in the Arduino where it is both acting as a Slave and Master at the same time. My guess is that occasionally the Slave reads are.
